Excellent free geek wallpaper by James Joyce

MT reader Daniel Pemberton (of TV theme fame) has a great new album out, with a geek-tastic cover illustration by James Joyce. James' site has a couple of nice free desktop wallpapers involving reel-to-reels, vintage synths, spectrum analysers and such. He should collaborate with cardboard synth man Dan McPharlin, I think.

Interesting, unique blog. Very cool, thanks for posting.

reel to reel sitting on the bass cabinet? hmmm, maybe mistakes really are the portals of discovery...
"...the artist, like the god of the creation, remains within or behind or beyond or above his handiwork, invisible, refined out of existence, indifferent, paring his fingernails."

Looks more like a mobile rack than a bass cab to me

Picture"SOme funky and Jam" :))

This looks just like the cover of the "Bertel!"(from Iceland) debut album.

"reel to reel sitting on the bass cabinet?"

brilliant - this is what i love about MT.

it's just a stylised drawing of some synths and that - i don't think it's meant to be an accurate reflection of the gear that mr pemberton actually uses.

mr pemberton here..

the cover of my tvpopmuzik album actually is all the gear i use, including my fez. this is some other stuff james has drawn. woo hoo! he is a very talented man..
