M-Audio's new MPC-a-like MIDI controller

Here are the first details about M-Audio's new drum pad controller. Bad things: It's about 10% as sexy as a second hand Akai MPC, it's covered in the ghastly silver plastic of death, and it's called 'Trigger Finger'. Good things: It might be fun to play with, and it's only $199. Available soon.

...and why on EARTH did they throw in those cheap faders? Now, if they'd reduced it to just the knobs and the pads, and maybe put a smallish programming section below the pads, then it may even have been somewhat sexy. I've got to find some way of getting into these people's focus group...
