Jörgen Bergfors from Stockholm has built an amazing modular synth called Bergfotron, and posted pictures and schematics here. The whole thing is completely home-made, with modules made out of solid brass and a very cool front panel, which makes no effort at all to look like a vintage Moog. Good work, Jörgen! I am building a Retro-Synthesizer, too. I only make little changes of the original schemos if at all and i am using no integrated circuits within the whole synthie.
