Daniel Pemberton (of TV theme fame) has a great
new album out, with a geek-tastic cover illustration by
James Joyce. James' site has a couple of nice
free desktop wallpapers involving reel-to-reels, vintage synths, spectrum analysers and such. He should collaborate with
cardboard synth man Dan McPharlin, I think.
Interesting, unique blog. Very cool, thanks for posting.
ReplyDeletereel to reel sitting on the bass cabinet? hmmm, maybe mistakes really are the portals of discovery...

Looks more like a mobile rack than a bass cab to me

ReplyDeleteThis looks just like the cover of the "Bertel!"(from Iceland) debut album.

ReplyDeletebrilliant - this is what i love about MT.
it's just a stylised drawing of some synths and that - i don't think it's meant to be an accurate reflection of the gear that mr pemberton actually uses.
mr pemberton here..
ReplyDeletethe cover of my tvpopmuzik album actually is all the gear i use, including my fez. this is some other stuff james has drawn. woo hoo! he is a very talented man..
