I would drink a fist of freezing poison for this studio. As for raymonds "wall of sound".

Raymond Scott is my idol. I heard he built so many music machines that he blasted off into space and landed on the moon and an alien asked him what does this button do and he said don't touch that and it turned on an lfo so powerful that it ripped a hole into the fabric of time and raymond was sent to galilee during jesus's time and to make a long story short there was an awesome synth solo and jesus was awarded raddest musician in all the land and they gave him a moog little phatty.

Yeah, yeah, yeah--we've all heard that one a million times . . .

The only story told in music stores, Sunday schools and engineering physics classes.

[Um, translation: Great, great story. Yes, Raymond rules.]

do you really think that they would bother firing up some huge modular for some advert? of course they use soft synths, the hardware is obviously a passion- which cant be said of the bread and butter work. I have heard some of expandings releases and there are some quality sounds going on...

  15. Oops... did us MusicThing fans do this? Their poor site now gives an "This account has exceeded it's bandwidth quota and has been temporarily disabled." eror message. Ah, the risks of gear porn...
