I've covered the legendary Japanese synth shop
Five G in the past, but Steven writes to point out that on
this page they're selling an MS20 with the serial number '1' for ¥207,900 ($1,700). They seem to sell
a lot of MS20s, usually for a hardly any more reasonable ¥98k ($825). If you're in the area, could you sneak in and get us a picture of the serial number?
I soooooo wanna visit this shop one day - happy with my sys100 and ms10 for now, but that sh5 looks real nice for the price
ReplyDeleteI drop into FiveG regularly as it's on my daily commute.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my camera with me today and I'm on holiday for nearly a week, if it's still there next week ...
Would you settle for a pic of my MS2000, it's in Japan too?
Ack... some of these prices are VERY reasonable and I'd love an extra 10-20 grand to blow on a shopping spree there. Their JP-8 is only around $2050...
ReplyDelete....don't sweat it, I'm on the case - everything's shut down here in JP for a few days now, but I'll be sure to take a snap for all Otaku dudes out there very soon...
ReplyDelete....anyway, the triumverate rack of Matrix 12's is the real pants-wetter at Five-G. It's just awesome.
ReplyDeleteFiveG has a picture of the synth here:
