eBay of the day: Webcor Music Machine
UPDATE: 12 hours to go, and it's already up to $316...
shame - i immediately thought that the brand / company name was based on the famous captain beefheart lyric (from "little golden birdies") but it's just a simple concatenation.
ReplyDeleteThat unit reminds me of something similar [1] that I saw in a window on Haight Street in San Francisco a few months back.
ReplyDeleteThe Silver Star Solid State Organ Radio Phonograph.

A freind of mine has one of these things, it's nothing special, you only have a choice of 8' or 4' stop for the organ (not both), a few generic cheesy rhythms, can't play along with the radio as it won't run at the same time as the instrument sounds. It sounds a whole lot better when it's going thru his VCS3 though...
ReplyDeleteFred from Vancouver BC, where there's lots of wierd asian stuff!
