If you've ever worried about getting ripped off on eBay, you might enjoy
this amazing post on the ProSoundWeb forums. In it, engineer Bill Mueller tells how he once tried to buy a Yamaha DM2000 mixer on eBay for $14,500, and ended up driving from Maryland to Indiana to confront the fraudster. Sample quote:
"I took no weapons. I don't like jail." [link]
the link appears to be down or simply not working. any advice? or maybe a cut and paste?
ReplyDeleteBill Mueller can afford to do that with the big bucks he makes playing third base for the Red Sox.
ReplyDeletethe link doesn't work but if you click on the story title "The hardcore way........."
ReplyDeleteit works
Hmm... not sure why it's playing up - both links are thte same, and both work fine for me. It could be that you need to scroll down to the midddle of the page to find the relevant post. Anyway, I've put another link at the end which works slightly differently.
ReplyDeletethe story are looks very non-realistic.
ReplyDeletenobody who have brains & age 18+ never did something like this.
this kind of shit are possible with
stuff 50-200 buks (i was ripped once at ebay for $60) but if sum are going to $1000 & up, the fraudster
