This is the new thing from Kansas-based Future Retro. I love the way it looks, with the circular control panel and sequencer, but it's slightly dissapointing to hear that it's yet another TB-303 emulator (it's fully-analog). Still, $650 doesn't seem a ridiculous amount to pay for such a great-looking thing, which can also control pretty much any other synth - with MIDI, CV/Gate and Din outputs. So why is it circular? FR boss Jered Flickinger says "Hopefully, it will open the minds of others to the realization that music and its cycles may best be represented within the circular form." (from Harmony Central) UPDATE: Now available from Analog Haven.
