Just a quicky - look at this incredible Trixon Drum Kit, as played by Bill Haley's drummer in the 1950s. Bidding starts at £1750. Seems like Trixon have a slightly alarming cult following. More crazy 1950s pics here.
I recall seeing a set of Trixon drums in the mid-60s with different sized heads on a single drum. 14" diameter on top, for instance, and 12" diameter on the bottom. But the drooping blob bass drum is surely their finest work.
