Spooky robotic glass hand plays Chopin, costs $16.95

I'm pretty sure that it's not actually possible to lay this robotic plexiglass hand onto a piano and watch it really play 'Minute Waltz' or 'The Entertainer', but... wouldn't that be cool? Presumably it just wriggles away, roughly in time with the music (which has always been my piano technique). (Thanks Mikey)

Comments:
I would be cool if it could be reprogrammed to play something else.

Glad your back,Tom!

Dude, that's my technique for everything.

Reminds me of 'Thing' from that show way back when.

idea

I think that it should be a 'handshake' grip tester, that lets you tailor your shakes for different global markets. 'American Texas Holdem Shake', 'Singaporian Softie', the 'Bruce Lee Breaker', and the 'Donald Trump Germaphobe'.

It could also compute pulse rate and relative palm humidity according to actuarial curves and output only bad news.

That's the kind of thing we need to succeed in this militaristic fast paced world of ultra-commerce.

"Sound sensor starts the music when you clap"

Can you imagine a real concert with one of these hands. It would be a stand-off between the audience and the mechanical hand because nobody would clap until it did something.

That seemed a lot more profound when it was in my head.
