i promise this is not spam, i read this website everyday. im trying so hard to get the word out about my bands new cd, and i figured i would post on the places i love to read so hopefully we could reach fans with intrests similar to ours. my band is called vibes.

never realized frostwave sold so many pedals
 

I shudder to think of what one's signal sounds like after running through that many pedals. Even with all of them off, all tone from your original signal would be mangled beyond usefulness.
 

well, your signal doesn't matter much if you're just trying to make noise, right?

There is no signal. Most of the setups pictures are mostly/entirely feedback loops. The whole point is to mangle the signal beyond usefulness! ^_^
 

also that's someone's pedal collection in the photo above, as you can see they're not actually connected.
 

None of the photos I've looked at so far have been rated above 6 or so, even rigs that are an obvious 10. Envy? Bitterness? Perhaps?
 

almost all of the pedals are buffered, so the signal will be all mids. ($400 in patch cords later...). If one cord went out, it'd be exactly like the old school xmas lights.

Fun to see that people are even messier with wires than I am.
 

just a note about the "buffered bypass = all mids" thang... that's only true for single-pole power... i.e. +9V to ground... which granted is what most stomp b0xen do. But if you are using a positive and negative power rail and get everything nice and DC-balanced, there's no reason you can't have an audiophile-grade buffered bypass.

And use it to make an almighty racket of feedback and hellnoise...
