Really hardcore Japanese fuzzbox porn

Nicholas writes: "Hello from Sydney, Australia. I thought you might like this video for japanese band Yurayura Teikoku, the first half of which is a lovingly filmed ode to their collection of fuzz pedals." Good song, too, although they're not the most charismatic bunch.

Comments:
I'm a sucker for good childrens choir

i'll go out on a limb here and say that yura yura teikoku are one of the few japanese bands that "get it". they're amazing.

Is it me or are they a little low on lighting. Kind of tough to see what is going on.

That was a cool video. Someone needs to do that for synths. : )

So, I'm trying to figure out if this is an actual Radiohead cover in Japanese or if it just really, really sounds like one of there songs. I'm probably hearing Creep in it.

Isn't this quite political too, considering that all the pedals shown will soon be illigal to buy and sell under the new electronics goods acts in Japan?

Now someone needs to do the only trainspotter thing necessary here: recognize and list all the pedals in the order they are shown on the video...

Did someone recongnize some of the pedals?

What I got:

Colorsound Tone Bender,
some Arbiter Fuzz Pedals,
and a real old Roland Bee

Yura Yura Teikoku has been around since the late 80s. Not entirely sure about Radiohead influences, but here's a profile and discography on them:
