eBay of the Day: Muson Synthesizer

Is this the coolest musical toy ever made? eBay #7341987803 is a Muson Synthesizer from 1978. MiniOrgan.com says: "Incredible Machine. Far ahead of its time - a mini sequencer with endless possibilites. Kind of a ROLAND TB-303 but much cooler & cheaper. The coloured buttons can be used to change the melody and rhythm - each color has a different tune. You can also change the speed and pitch of the sequence with 2 sliders. My neighbours thought this was my new car-alarm." Currently 99p, with almost a week to go.

Comments:
Well the cat's out of the bag now, isn't it. Definitely cool. Part of my set up. (You can see it in a photo on the Quark Nova MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/quarknova) and can be heard in the breakdown of the track 'Icicles')

Music Thing is an amazing site, by the way - thanks!

The band KMFDM once had a video on their website where they used a pair of studio headphones as a mic, placed inside the speaker on the Muson, and recorded a sequence to use for one of their songs.

Hey there's another one Item number: 7343762622, are these things any good? The demo on the minorgan site sounded a bit mediocre.

Another here, look at the condition! item 7346199504
