What's up with the Moog doll?

Mikey sent me this image (right), without giving me any information or background. All my googling got me nowhere, apart from this slightly spooky image (left) from a Japanese website which appears to be an unpainted prototype - although they could obviously both be computer renders. Can anyone tell me more?

Would this be of any interest ?

Designed by Archer Prewit (Writer/artist of "Sof Boy" musician from "Sea and Cake" and his own solo albums). Presspop, is a japanese company that makes awesome figures like this, the packaging is often as nice as the figure (which I'm sure is the case. They're expensive and I need this.

Word is there will be US distribution, too -- among others, via Moog directly (who seem quite mystified by this, but hey!)

Everyone needs a Moog doll!
