Sabastian's transparent MIDI controller

I frequently complain about horrible cheap silver plastic, particularly when used to build cheapo M-Audio controller keyboards. Unlike me, Sabastian from Censtron has done something about it, ripping out the guts of a vile M-Audio Oxygen 8 and wrapping them in plexiglass: "Do you really think a guy that circuit bends televisions is going to show up to a gig with a silver plastic Oxygen8? PS: Notice the guitar strap pegs? Yes I'll go keytar style..." Good work, Sabastian, you've created the poor man's Gleeman Pentaphonic. (Click for a bigger picture.)

Comments:
Wow... I've considered spraypainting my oxygen8 before, but this is pretty extreme.

Exactly how is clear plastic better than silver plastic?
And if we're talking about style here, are you sure you wanna go down keytar lane?

Damn, to each his own.

It's kinda ironic that the new Chinese CME keyboards are built more Ford tough than 90% of the American plastic controllers.
Go outsourcing!

And another thing, bring back aftertouch.

I think It would be cool to make a larger version with some used el-cheapo casio that has MIDI a two tiered version for controling the native instruments B4 organ simulator would be tha bomb!
