I've covered Palm OS music software before, but MiniMusic's new Krikit synth sounds and looks pretty good. It runs on Palm OS, and integrates with their sequencer software: The guy from MiniMusic says it uses FM and "It's like having the best synth keyboard from the 80s in your pocket."
