The point of a synthesizer is to make stupid noises and look vaguely cool. Here's something that does both, and does them well. "The Space*Synth is an experimental modular synthesizer that uses the authentic sound chip used in the 1980's video games like Space Invaders" it says on their site, and who are we to disagree? This is what synthesizers are all about.
