Organ nut pays $127 for a 'vintage power cord'

Gareth writes with news that an Organ Collector (who also seems to be worryingly interested in WWII memorabilia) has paid $127 for the power lead from a Vox Continental. As Gareth says: "This has caused much hilarity in combo-organ circles. It's very easy to fit another power socket, or modify another cord with a stanley knife. I didn't think ebay madness hit so soon after Christmas." It seems that even the lucky seller was amazed - his feedback for the buyer said "Generous Bidder, Propt Payer". You can buy an entire, more-or-less working Vox Continental for $600 on eBay.
