I wonder where they got that idea from?

SuperMikey comes through again with Creative's new soundcard for laptops. It's basically a playback-only soundcard on a PCMCIA card for £85. It has 5.1 for gamers, and two things that a musician will dislike: 1) It has some creepy digital rights management stuff built in, so the digital outputs mute when you're playing Microsoft protected files. 2) It's a utterly shameless rip-off of Echo's Indigo range, which you'll find nestling in the laptop of every DJ running Pro Tools on the red-eye back from Miami. An Echo Indigo costs £89, and comes with free sense of moral superiority.
